[WR] Marcin Kowalczyk MultiBLD 23/25 in 53:33

I don't think it is allowed to touch the "solved" cubes until he finishes his attempt. He may correct his mistakes.

That is correct. I highly recommend that those who are doing multiBLD attempts carefully instruct their judges as to the rules before they begin. It's a bad feeling to reach for a cube to make a correction, and find that it's not where you left it.

On one hand I don't think the cubes should have been moved, and I would hate for that to happen for me. In general, I like knowing where the cubes are for such a scenario, and there have been multiple occasions where I have went back to fix a cube, including in my 7/7 official solve. On the other hand, Marcin seems to throw the cubes away to the side, with little to no consideration for where they end up, so perhaps it's not something he personally bothers with?

Oh, and congrats on the WR. I feel that the MBLD WR has become a lot more interesting recently, and that the action won't stop soon.

Yeah, MBLD didn't used to have a time limit, so a few people tried very large attempts..
Actually the 10 min/cube time limit was already in effect. For example, Mondo had to solve his 50 cubes in less than 8 hours and 20 minutes, and took "only" 6 hours and 3 minutes for them.

I wonder how many cubes the best multBLDers would attempt today with the old rules, maybe 100 ? Anyway, the multiBLD event would probably have become really unmanageable, and that's the main reason why the 1 hour time limit was added to the rules.
