[WR] Marcin Kowalczyk 26.72 3BLD Mo3

What's your success rate these days

60-90% :P
When I am in mood to have high accuracy it's high. When I am in mood to have low accuracy it's low. Really :p
Sometimes I care about it and it's high and sometimes I don't care about it.

The biggest takeaway is to add a string to your blindfold.
It'll save milliseconds. Literally.

Also, what happened to Raichu? :(

I did it for fun because I don't really think it's very helpful ;)
I sold my Raichu in... 2013?

Maskow: What do you think the limits are for 3bld?

I have no idea. It's hard to say. We will see real limits only when speedcubing will be completely professional. In my opinion it's almost impossible so we won't see the limits. Oh, and of course my current level is very low compared to things that can be done.

And about my MBLD:
Like I said it many times, MBLD is the hardest thing to practice and to keep your form (lol, it's too long, smaller attempts don't work). The plan was to try 46 cubes in November 2014. And today. But I had some problems, I was ill, etc. and I didn't practice it just before comps. I can't try 46 cubes and solve them all without practice in last 1-2 weeks before comps. I just can't. I can do 40, with few DNFs, but no more. But there is no reason to try 40 cubes when it isn't a WR and 8 is enough to win :P
But probably the real reason is that I am not very interested in MBLD after 2013. Why should I be? I compete only with myself. It's really boring when you don't have anyone to beat and nobody cares about you because people think you are a robot and there is no chance to win with you so they don't even try ^ _ ^ And I'm not surprised because MBLD is really very painful and ungrateful and I have no idea why I chosed it. Oh, yes, I didn't choose MBLD, it chosed me ;) I will improve this record. One day. Maybe in near future. Maybe not. But I will do it. 41/41 is too low. But I can't promise WHEN.

For today 3x3 BLD is better because there are few people that can beat me and I have to make it impossible :p But I really wish them luck because it will help push the limits.

What solving method(s) does he use? Is is 3style for both corners and edges? And what cube was used this time?

A4b) The competitor places his hands on the elevated sensor unit of the timer. His fingers must be touching the sensors with palms down. Penalty: time penalty (+2 seconds).

Watching the video I thought the starts were illegal but I guess they're ok? Just to check, as long as your palms are not perpendicular with the timer/table, it's a legal start? This can change the way I've always started the timer.

His fingers are touching the sensors and his palms are facing down?
Although I agree it looks unusual because most people keep their hands flat...
