Request an F2L alg!

(This is the blue-red pair in FR, going to BR. DFR is red.)

I like this case

R U' R' U' R U' R2' U' R

or

R U' R2' U' R U' R' U' R

Hey that is great and just 9 moves,I guess I'll start doing that from now :D

This is Off Topic,I need an opinion, but do you think that this cube(in the image above) needs restickering? If you were in my place, would you peel of these wretched stickers and put cubesmith stickers?

Is this too long for an intuitive F2l alg?

Hi,

ok, here is the case. I have a corner in it's slot with the cross color to the right. (Therefor, it is not in correctly. ) I have the matching edge on the top layer next to it's slot on the left. My automatic move is -
(U2 R U2 R' U2 R U R')

Is that a normal alg? Is there an easier way to do this? If Ihad a webcam I would make a vid...

THNX

I would start with it lined up, don't think of having it with the edge to the left, but rather with the edge to the right of the slot.
Ok i got you. took me a couple secs to understand. Reason why you say this is because the alg jokerman gave puts the edge there anyway on the first move. Your tip eliminates that move right?

I'll probably do both dependin on the situation. I am not good at look aheads yet but I do know both algsmove the peices to different places so they both might have there advantages, but I do notice that this new alg is faster for me, I just need to get used to it and it can help alot for me at this level.

How much different is a lubix zhanchi from a regular zhanchi??

Fairly significant difference between Lubix Zhanchi and Dayan Zhanchi. Basically they are the same cube, but Lubix, sends it to you pre-lubed, pre-tentioned and they do the 48 point edge mod to it. But don't be discouraged if you just got a normal Dayan Zhanchi since all the thing Lubix did to it, you can do yourself to it. Simply lube the cube, tension it how you want it and if you would like you can do the 48 point edge mod. Also I suggest pulling out the torpedoes. Personal prefference though.

Is there a core difference? I would do the 48 point mod, but Im not good with it. I mean I get the basic concepts, but when I do it,Im afraid I might ruin the cube, you should see my storebought cube o.O I'm thinking of buying and collecting every version and every type of cube. All Dayans and there sub version, all the Alphas, all Ds, all Fs etc.

As far as I understand, there is no difference in the core, except of course Lubix likes to lube each washer and spring in the core, but no actual hardware difference, no. And I'm not super familiar with what the 48 edge point is, but I do think I recall seeing a video by Lubix on how it's done. One sec...
Hopefully that will help.

I can't really see that vid well. I use my PS3 browser since I don't own a computer so the vid is fuzzy to me. I probably won't do the mod, my current zhanchis are really nice how they are without the mod or extra lubricant. I only used silicone.

Ok, new question, when i have the case where the corner is correctly placed but the edge is on the top layer making that "T" which I believe is like step 3 in the beginners method. I often use the beginners method alg when the layer on the othe side of the T is solved. But I want to know if there is another simplier alg?

The alg I usewhen the back layer is not solved is-

R2 U' R' U R2 ------ Credit to Felik
