Glad to see the cube in action. Your turning is very fluid and comfortable. Also, be careful with starting the timer with cube in hand.

I recommend learning this Ucw: z U’ R U’ R’ U’ R’ U’ R U R U2

Yeah, I'll try to stop doing that. Bad habits die hard, eh? I'll probably still stop it with my pinky though because I'm not a fan of dropping my cube every time ;)

Good point, I should definitely learn some more U perms.

I recommend this E-perm:

Switches back to corners and front two corners. (Horizontal switches)

x' U z' R U R' z' R z R U' R z U' R U z U' R' u'

I think I've gotten a sub-3 with that before... Not sure. I might be wrong. But definitely sub-3.5, no prob.

Oh, I was talking about starting the timer. You sometimes start the cube resting on your laptop like on the first solve. Other times, you start with the cube in your hand like at 1:13. Picking up the cube should be as consistent as possible.

On the subject of stopping the timer, it really bugs me when people yell at me to stop the timer with the same hand haha. I don't think you can save that much time by stopping with your other hand. Starting with the cube in your hand, on the other hand (lol had to do it), is a different story.

Also, on the subject of E perms, here's the one I use: x' R U' R U' z U' R u' z x' U' R U' R' U' z U' R z' R U'. I can get low 2 if I don't screw up the (z x'). There are 2 more moves than the above posted alg but this 16-mover is comfy.

I don't care how you stop the timer, but if you don't save much time you must not lose much time by not doing it - so why not do it correctly?

I'm assuming "correctly" means stopping with your solving hand. I don't like the idea of dropping the cube on my laptop after every solve. If stopping with my other hand doesn't affect my time much, I'd rather do what feels safer.
