Hello, I'm sarthurs, as you can already tell from my username. I am currently learning Roux and I'm pretty new to speedcubing. My brother got me interested in it. My current times are very fail so I will not post them here. anyway, I'm looking to make new friends in the speedcubing community, and looking for encouragement to improve my times. I've already been directed to Waffle's Roux site by my brother, and it has been extremely useful.

I do technical theatre. (Lights at the moment). I also enjoy math and art. I haven't done claymation in awhile but I'm starting one that will be good soon. In terms of music, I'm pretty cool with whatever as long as it's not rap. I used to play saxophone but I don't play anymore.

Welcome dont worry about your time being around 7 minutes. My step brother started cubing around 3-4 weeks ago at first his times were around 20 minutes(could only do with tutorial vid) after he learned everything he got down to about 3 minutes in a few days time. After 1 week of cubing his times dropped to about 2 and a half minutes. Now hes somewhere between 80-100 seconds. At first it may take you a while but after you get comfortable with your method you will get much better very quickly. Good luck and happy cubing!
