This seems like a very good cube to me, Guhong corner cutting and hard to pop - maybe just like the Witeden 2x2x2 better than any other one?
What do you think?

Looks like it's still based on circles inside rather than cones, so I can't imagine the tech is as nice as a dayan. And looks like he's using a hellava lot of force to make those cuts (what I love about the dayan ones is how effortless they are to cut corners). Still, could be ok.

Sorry for the bump. I posted Witeden asking when this will be released (canceled my V-Cube order and will get this instead).
Here's the reply;

Hello

about February 25 can come into the market

Thanks.
Sincerely.

Will this be one of the last 3x3x3s before the impending armageddon?

Let's hope not, I love how the cubes have evolved lately. By that I don't mean glued on center caps and purple/orange. I don't understand the problem with the big toy companies. The original patent expired, change the color, sure. And this cube doesn't seem to possibly infringe Verdes patents in any way. It just looks awesome. I guess I'll have to get both my first DaYan and my first Type C if the date is correct. But wait, I am already, I'm getting the Witwo ;)

The cube looks pretty nice. Looking forward to getting one.

I hope things stay calm though. If it ever comes to a proper fist-fight, then my cash is on BAO Daqing (the guy that designed most of the DaYan cubes). He looks pretty buff:

Last pic, guy on the left. Think Witeden got his name wrong though.

In China they call him Dayan Tou more than Bao Daquing. I believe he made the nickname himself after he founded the company. It means Head of Dayan and most cubers in China refer to him as that.

But who's gonna fist fight? This doesn't look very similar to DaYan cubes to me, but I bet Verdes and someone from Seven Towns could get a good round from him ;)
