I know I already had another topic up, but this one is much more precise. I took an average of 12. But, instead of doing the whole solve without stopping, I scrambled. Then started, made cross, stopped. Started, made F2l, stopped. And so forth. I know 2 look OLL, and 1 full PLL. Any tips on what to improve the most on, and everything else I need to do, based on where I am now.

Cross 4.87
F2L 15.54
OLL 5.83
PLL 4.93

Switch to Roux? XD I would say work on your F2L. Practice looking ahead and solving slowly. Cut down on moves for the cross and try to track F2L pieces while solving the cross. But I don't use Fridrich.

Again Practice.

In your post, do you mean you know all of PLL or just the 1? I assume all.

I would say work on your Cross + F2L. I shaved a good few seconds off my F2l by just playing with first 2 layers and finding more effecient ways to insert or pair up corners and edges.

I need to work on my LL :( My Cross + F2L combined is usually anywhere between 8 seconds and 15 seconds, yet my LL can take up to 10 seconds :(

My times are about the same as you except my F2L is like 5 seconds faster. Work on that, turning slowly with no stops.

Your cross can get at little work too.

What do you think you need to improve?

Does anyone else see no point at all to these threads? Unless you're a second or two away from where you want to be, isn't it kind of obvious that you're going to need to decrease your times in everything to improve?

Let's say you're trying to get a sub-20 average. Your F2L is about 20 seconds and your LL is about 10. Neither of those are acceptable for a sub 20 average. And if you're only going for 28, honestly, you can just take the two seconds from about any part of your solve.

I'm sorry if this comes off as harsh, I just don't understand the ~20 threads along these lines that have come up recently. Practice cubing, go slow and look ahead. That's all the advice you need to follow if you're averaging three minutes or thirty seconds.
