Which PLL algs?

I really don't know which to use and which is fastest. Do I really have to go through all of them and see which one works best? Because if that's so I would have to try hundreds of algorithms.

I know some are obviously slower than others like ones incorporating with a lot of M.

Anyone know how I would find a way to get a good PLL/OLL alg?

The best way to go about it would be to go through many algs for each case. Find algs that suit your turning style. And for the record, many people would argue the M move algs are NOT slow.

You could search videos on specific algorithms. See one you like and you could at least narrow down your options a bit. I assume you've already looked up algs on the wiki, right?

And I say M is worth getting used to. Practice and you'll be amazed how fast it can get. Don't be afraid to force yourself to practice algs with other finger tricks that may feel awkward at first, either, because you never know how much you may end up loving them.

just go to the wiki page and scroll through the alg list to find the one YOU can peform the best. also, i recomend learning more then 1 pll for most of the cases from different angles. oh and m slices are FREAKING BOSS when you get good with them.

I picked a Z with only M' and M2s so I don't think I have a single M in my PLLs.
I'd recommend watching PLL videos by the top guys like Breandan Vallance, Eric, Feliks, et al.

Hope this helps.

Oh, and for the record, I never had a very nice cube until next year January.
The cube I use now does this:

(any type of M turn) + (any type of other slice that interferes with a M turn) X 10 = 1 pop

Hope this helps.

Thank you sa11297 for the algs. But I think I'll still have to do this custom way so I can find one that fits me best.

Yes, I know, but I just want to find the different choices that are available to me, so I can see which is better for me. I have am currently using the J (a) perm that is showed on a lot of websites (including badmephisto's) and it just seems extremely awkward for me. It take me like 4 seconds to execute it. Although remember I haven't been practicing it that much, but I can tell that it is obviously not my "type".

Thanks.

For example, for te last move, the F' of a T-pem, you should use your thumb. For teh longest time I used my left index finger, and ever since I switched to my thumb, it has gotten much better. It makes it much easier to AUF when the thumb is used.
