Just white/yellow when trying to go fast, though I seem to play with CN the majority of the time when I'm not timing now.

I've been considering it for a long time, cubing is taking a bit of a back seat for me now though - the cost of switching (tons of work to get to the same speed, possibly getting slower overall if not fully committed) vs the reward (incrementally faster) is just too much.

It can be difficult, but if you really stick to it consistently for at least a month you will almost certainly get comfortable with it and by the end of 2 months you won't even think about it. The biggest challenge is remembering which color you are on and turning that colors filters on (I. e. only see that color just like you do when on your dominant color. ) Once you developed these filters you will be set. Most people say you should do 1 color at a time, but I say you should alternate colors every solve. This way you begin to become accustomed to switching your filters quickly. Just a quick tip.
