Should i remove the pegs on my guhong?

Hi guys ive seen some people on the internet saying that removing the pegs from the guhong makes a diffrence.What do u think?Should i do it?

I think he means the pegs holding the corners together...

I thought that too, but why would you even consider removing them?

You can use the edit button to edit your post, you don't need to double post. As for your original question, I don't see any reason to take the pegs out. I can't say I've ever tried it, but it sounds like it would just make the corners more unstable and more prone to fall apart.

Speedcubeshop built them like that when they first came out. The impact wasn't that dramatic.

How does he know that the pegs changed anything? He said that he cleaned it and re-lubed it, so I see no way of knowing if taking out the pegs made a difference. I don't see the point in it at all.

The corner stalks become more flexible, in theory.
I would focus on other things if my guhong needed improvement.
