Advance F2L Techniques? Tips!

I've been cubing for roughly one two months now.
My solves are normally sub 50. I use CFOP and 4LLL.
I always use competition scrambles so I'm confident perhaps.
Here are times for each steps :

Cross:00:05.24
F2L(Completely Intuitive): 00:20.39
Orientation (2 look) : 00:08.56
Permutation (2 look): 00:11.46

All together : 45.65 (Consider myself lucky!) (I use a rubiks storebought cube,No mods) Many lockup!

I want to get my F2L under 10 secs by this month :)
But I'm in need of help :O
Is there any advance techniques for those?

During my practice sessions, I found out that I sometimes accidentally paired up 2 pairs at once, but only by sheer luck and cant repeat it.
I ensured my lookahead . I keep a look out for those pieces that go in an out, learned how to ignored the LL pieces but my times still doesnt go down.
During my F2L, I normally make 4 cube rotations at most and 2 at least.

I decided to post so I may receive so tips ;)
Thanks, I'll make a video of me solving a cube soon.

Wow, F2L under 10 secs in one month?!?!
I've been cubing for about 8 months now and my Cross + F2L is sitting roughly at 11-14 seconds.

Some things that helped me:
- Looking ahead.
- Solve F2L slowly.
- Do walkthrough solves to yourself.
- And most important, PRACTICE xD

2-4 cube rotations is very impressive. I think its best not to learn too many advanced f2l tricks when you first start cubing. Do it intuitively and look up algorithms for cases that you are bad at or do slowly. I tried to learn very advanced f2l algorithms (2 pairs at once) and stuff like multislotting when I was around 20 seconds and it only confused me. Its up to you of course if you want to learn advanced f2l tricks, but it didn't work for me. Over time you do develop your own f2l tricks.
Macky's site has advanced f2l tricks btw. Sorry I cant remember the name of the site and cant really be bothered looking for it either.

Try to get a low movecount with low turn speed, like sub-35 turns? I dunno because I don't use CFOP but 35 sounds good.

3-4 rotations is okay, I've seen people use more. If it feels ok use F and B moves to minimise rotations. You can do stuff with Uw and Rw turns so experiment.
Also doing z then cross on left for a pair is a good idea sometimes.

I dont see how 3-4 rotations impressive :( It still cost me bout 20 secs to complete F2L.
just did a quick f2l avg, 7.72[2], 7.74[3], 7.31[2], 6.41[1], 10.19[2], 7.31[2], 10.32[2], 7.25[2], 10.28[1], 7.68[2], 7.27[2], 9.02[2] =8.18[1.9]
8ish avg and pretty much 2 avg for rotations. Note the rotations counted did not include any done whilst forming the cross. With rotations in the cross I would estimate at least 1 more rotation in total. And as far as I remember I didnt use any "advanced techniques" throughout the solves

EDIT: 5BLD brings up a good point that wasnt touched on before; movecount. each F2l pair should be around 7 moves. If some cases take you more look on the wiki for more optimal solutions

Ok, thanks. I dislike using F or B because it slows me down. For some reasons, B or B' for me is slower then a cube rotation. Maybe I should practice more on that.

Back pair: f R f'
Back insertion: f R f'
I usually do f l' D' or f l U' and carry on cross on the left. Because sometimes I start with COD but I prefer COL.

pretty sure feliks made a pll video a while back, but like you have to find algs that suit you, fast for one person may be slow for another

Oh kays !

BTW as well, does anyone happen to know a list of the fastest PLL algoritms?

PLL are a choice thing so fastest is realative but I will PM you with the ones I use and you can pick the ones you like. I sub 2 everything but my G perms, conciquently I practice those the least as I am looking to change them :\

I did this back in July, some have gotten faster since then.
