So yes, I have used the search function people, and forgive me if I did not find the right thread, I might just be blind >.<

But here is my question. The Dayan Lunhui has torpedo pieces in it. I was wondering if taking these out would be better for increasing my times. Now granted I'm not a very fast cuber with a PB of 35 and an average of 45 >.<, but I want to experiment and see what others say. So ya....sorry if this question has already been asked, but I combed through 4 or 5 pages of search results and saw nothing like this. Thanks for your input.

I think this is your first (or second) post, so welcome! For your question, the torpedoes prevent the lunhui from popping, so I don't suggest taking them out. They don't affect the cubes performance in any negative way, so keep them in!

BTW, I suggest you make an intro thread for yourself. Finally, next time use the One Answer Question Thread for simple, on answer question (hence the title). You can find it by searching.

Try it without torpedoes! Some people don't have any problem with pops(I did....). If you can control the cube fairly well and turn accurately, pops won't be an issue. If they are, simply put 'em back in.

I agree with him. Some people can turn really accurately, and never have any problems with pops. It's worth giving it a shot and taking the torpedoes out. Like hammerhead said, you can always just put them back in if popping becomes a problem.

thanks guys. I ended up taking them out and i love it even more. Once in like every 10/15 solves i get a pop, but when it pops...it explodes haha
You could try tightening the cube if you're having trouble with pops. It slows down the cube a little, but not as much as putting the torpedoes in would.
