So after lots of cubing and lubing(50k Traxxis dif) I noticed that the cube has worn in from the fine cube dust particles that most say they like. I hate it and like my cubes super slippery with no scratchiness. I'm wondering how to polish the worn in parts. I have a Dremel with buffers, and I was thinking about getting either CRC or Jigaloo since they temporarily melt cube pieces so that might smooth them out. Hopefully Izovire will chime in on this since I saw a pic of the inside of one of his Godly's and the plastic looked like a mirror and it wasn't from the lube. How would you guys polish your insides?

I attempt to polish my innards wiv beer each time I crack one open. I like to think that said beverage is doing the job, but I still need to obtain an endoscope to acquire proof.

Does anybody own an endoscope I can borrow to confirm my efforts? I'll pay for shipping both ways and promise not to insert it into any bodily cavities other than my esophagus.

If you lube it decently, your cube should not become scratched inside. I wouldn't know the parts can be polished again without changing the cubes performance.

Didn't think about the 'polish your insides' so that actually was funny:)

Jokes aside; I doubt you'll notice a big difference if you were to go about polishing the pieces. At least not to a degree where it would make up for the time and effort invested.

Break-in creates grooves in the plastic that result in slightly less friction/contact between the pieces. Polishing them out would make the cube slower IMO.

Actually I did a really bad job of explaining. The problem was the centerpieces. I did Izovire's Zhanchi centerpiece mod with the same box cutter that he recommended if he doesn't use his Dremel and it felt smooth enough to the touch but it was too crunchy. When I took my other Zhanchi apart and saw how polished the centerpieces were I knew what the problem was but a Dremel doesn't polish properly. Went to the drug store and got the Revlon crazy shine nail buffer and used that and it solved the problem(Saw it in the forum)!
