i have an amazing 27 hour drive coming up and i know this is allot like "what to work on" but i cant do blds yet. I can only do the regular solve in 3 min. 46 sec. avg. I am getting a rubik's diy so i should be able to learn some finger tricks. All any won ever says is practice and I will but i imagine i will get sub 1 min. 30 sec. In the first ten hours or so. so I want to get some more stuff to learn. I know key hole and most of 2 look oll's which i plan too memorize the rest of. so that will help. The first drive is 7 hours which i will try to memorize the rest of the 2 look oll's and get a much faster time. Then i will have a few days to go on the internet, relax, and do some slower solves. Before another 7 hour drive then a week and a half to practice slower until a two hour drive. Then a 12 hour drive to practice allot more.
If there is anything that i left out to work on please tell me. I fixed all the spelling and stuff so stop complaining please.

You are way to optimistic. You are well over 3 minutes and you expect to hit sub-40 in 10 hours?!
I'd be sick and have a rest after 3 hours of casual solving.

I would suggest, since you have such a long drive:
print off guides on how to do BLD, and other methods like Petrus, Roux, Keyhole, and if you want all 57 OLL and the whatever PLL or whatever..
Work on all that and you should be amazing.

Lol 27 hours.. geez where ya headed?

English isn't even the native language of some of the forum regulars, and they still type it better than you do. What the hell was that?

Ugh, someone else who thinks nonstop cubing will make you better. You'll probably get down to 2:15ish. I'm not saying that to be mean, I'm saying it because it's true. You plan on loading yourself up with algorithms and magically become sub-40? The DIY's not gonna help much either. All you're gonna do is waste your money on a cube that you won't be able to use efficiently. Also, are you only allowed to cube in a car? You have a week long break in between and you plan on only going on the internet?

P.S. Learn to spell, punctuate, and proofread your posts. Don't spam your post with smileys. You make yourself look like a 4-year old.

Ouch, that hurt me. If he wants to improve by practicing, which is the best way TO improve, let him.

Well even if he has that long to practice.
Hello?
MENTAL FATIFUE?!
After a couple hours its all gonna go right through his head and out again.
Not to mention if he's actually cubing that long the lovely risk of RSIs...

solving my cube
i imagine i will get sub 40 in the first ten hours or so
It took me 2-3 weeks to get a sub minute with a keyhole method. Your average is 4 minutes and you're expecting to be sub 40.......within 10 hours time!?! *excuse me while I laugh*
I went on a 8 hour car ride about 3 weeks ago. I could only stand to cube for maybe 2.5 hours of that time, and that was heavily broken up by a lot of reading. Do you really expect to be cubing or crunching algs the entire time you're in the car?
Do me one favor. After the first 10 hours, take an A5, and post the times here during the "few days" you will have to spend on the internet. I would be most interested to see your results. (I'm being serious about this.)
Also, the fact that you have around 50 smilies in your post makes me doubt that your older than 7 or 8. Smilies are meant to help readers of your post determine the way you write something, like to help them know if you were joking or serious when you said something. And put some freakin punctuation in there somewhere, please? How you write something largely determines peoples reaction to your post.

Fitting, considering that's the state I'm in right now...Too fatigued to spell fatigued.
Huh.
But yeah, I can't cube seriously for more than about an hour straight. I know I'm not the best, but there has to be a limit before 27 hours.
That's just ridiculous.

Yeah I sorta thought the same thing when I went on vacation to Lake of the Ozarks-- 10 hours driving time.
I cubed for like, an hour total time in that wretched car, mostly because it got boring, and the fact that my dad kept yelling at me about "That stupid noise that the stupid cube makes.. It's driving me crazy with that constant sscchhhk sccchhkk sscchhkkkk" :p
But yeah. Good luck to ya, I'd LOVE to see your results, please post them :)
Also, LEARN TO FRIGGIN PUNCTUATE AND SPELL. Gosh. LEARN FRIGGEN HOW TO SPEAK FRIGGEN YNGLEASH.
God.
I had better grammar than that whe I was 7. My baby sister who's 6 (although considered to be as smart as the average 9 year old) has better grammar than you.
I'm surprised you can actually type.
AND STOP WITH THE STUPID SMILIES THEY ARE NOT COOL

I think that was a deliberate misspelling, judging by the mocking tone of the rest of the post xD

Well just remember that sometimes sarcasm in someone's second (or third...or whatever) language can be difficult to pick up on.
