Ok, I've been timing my 3x3 solves, sometimes I get 30 second solves (like 1/20) and sometimes I get over 1min solves, like 1.10 or w/e (1/10), normally between 40-55 seconds, when will I reach a point when I get sub 1 min like all the time? I'm using CFOP, 3LLL

All non-lucky btw, no PLL skips etc.

Average of 3, tell me where I'm doing it wrong.

Okay, well bro, how good is your f2l? Your look ahead?
When you'll get sub min, I don't know. It took me over a year to get min, when it can takes other cubers as little as a few days . Progression varies from individual to individual. I believe you're using a method way too advanced for your skill level. Simple LBL should be sufficient for sub 50s, if not lower.

Standardize your solves. Make them all look simmilar. Cross shold always take you 8 or less moves. Watch some F2L videos on YouTube (I suggest badmephisto) and see what are you doing wrong.

Also, breakdown of your solves would help. (How many seconds does it take for each step)

Video yourself cubing. Then look at your good solves, then your bad.
Then make sure you do what you do in good solves.

I find my good solves are due to absolutely no hesitation, and a steady turn speed.
And my bad ones are due to tensing up and hesitation.
I wouldn't mind a little inconsistency however.

I can sub 50 with 2look OLL/PLL, but I moved on to full PLL

cross is 3-12 seconds
f2l is 15-25 seconds
oll is 3-10 seconds
pll is 3-14 seconds

somewhere around there

by the time I finish f2l its normally 30 seconds.

hmm yeah just watched my video, good solves are easy f2l, and not much stopping, bad is looking for edges with f2l, failing algorithms, not recognising fast enough.

As i said, standardize your solves. Cross should take max 5 sec (try to use 8 or less moves for it).
Also, every OLL and PLL algorithm can easily be sub 5.

With that you can be sub50 in no time.

Make sure you optimise your inspection time.
It's there to help you, so do use all of it if you need to.
Practising BLD cross might also help.
Also, what face are you doing the cross on?

well, I do my cross (white) on bottom normally with an algorithm I make up in my head, sometimes I mess up and like e.g. red and blue are in wrong spot, in my inspection time all I can do it do cross, after that I needa do D turns to fix up cross, then inspect for f2l pieces.

Memorise the cube's colour scheme, such as opposite colours and adjacent pieces if you haven't already.
Also, the reason for practising BLD cross is so you don't need to look at the cross pieces whilst solving them meaning that you are able to see potential F2L pairs whilst solving the cross.

hmm I have trouble doing that lol, I'll try I guess. But they dont end up as a proper cross when I do blindfolded or closing eyes (dont have a blindfold)

When practising BLD cross, take as much time as you want to memorise, just get it right.
It'll help you a lot during normal solves.
With practice you'll be able to to the entire cross in your head.

It's much slower, forces you to look ahead in F2L.

Or it could so frustrating getting lockups that you're distracted away from from looking ahead. Better way is just to make yourself turn slowly.
I take it you're kinda new to full PLL, cause your recognition could be taking a while. That should naturally get better over time, also you could try drilling each pll alg for a bitty to get your fingertricks down, you should be able to get them all down to 4-5 second with very little practice.

umm why a storebought?

lets say you practice with a hard rock hard football and you become good at catching, you'll be amazing with a normal football, it's the same with a rubik cube, anything really, practice with something harder then when you go back to a good one you'll be so much better.
