I solved it like I would solve a 3x3x3. Which went fine until I noticed that the extended centers are incorrect. Sorry for the bad quality pics, but I hope you get the point:

Uhh... You mean you want to rotate the centres?
Try experimenting with [M U M', E] and algorithms like that.
Also, (R U R' U)*5 to rotate U layer 180 degrees.
Experiment on a 4x4 to see the effects.

Sorry if I misunderstood what you were asking. (fingers crossed)

It's called HongTianPao and I got it on Tiny Deals. I can't find it on there anymore though. Their site is a pain to navigate on my phone :(

T-perms are also nice for rotating centers 90°
2 T-perms for 180°

To twist two centers 90°: do T-perm - slice move- T-perm - undo slice move

EDIT: you're back... did you manage to solve it?

So if I have a solved face and want to rotate the center by 90° only whilst returning the face back to a solved state, how would I do that? 2 T-perms to rotate the center and resolve the face = 180° center turn. Only need 90 degrees though...
Sorry if I'm acting dumb...:(. Certainly feel pretty dumb right now...

You would do an M or some conjugate before it to twist another centre instead.

You see, it's impossible to twist just one centre 90 degrees.

Gah! So simple :( Thanks 5BLD. I have often stated that I'm just a simple dumb-ass that likes solving, but this debacle proves it. It's certainly a blessing to know people that can actually think "out of the box"...

Thanks again and kind regards,

H.

Nope.
Well puzl.co.uk is the only place I can get stuff right now. They have one.

I got my EastSheen collection from that site back in the day, but haven't ordered a single cube from them since. Good reseller though; got free bags for all three cubes.

My offer from 3 months ago still stands btw; if you need a certain cube, I'd be happy to help you out.

Just recently got a 2x2x2 out to a member in need over in the US. He seems pretty content with the cube, so I'm happy :)

Regards,

H.

Yes of course, thanks for your offer, and I'll certainly accept it when I am in a position to.

And puzl.co.uk. Their delivery is amazingly fast (two to three days for me), but they don't have much variety :(
But... My friend from hong kong just got me a zhanchi so when I get back to school I hope to be using it :D

You'll like the ZC, amazing cube. Not DaYans' best effort IMO, but still. Locks ever so slightly :(...
