Cubing Nationals 2012

Hey guys, if you didn't know the Cubing Nationals of 2012 will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Well i live in Las Vegas, NV and I want to go, but I dont know if I'm fast enough to even have a chance.My average is in the high 40s (46). What are most peoples averages when they go to comps like this.


NOTES: I still use the begginer's method and plan on learning the Fredrick method.

edit: Oh good, this is in the help/questions subforum so it's not like you were trying to create the official thread for it...

Just come for fun. You don't need to be fast to compete in an official competition. You don't need to be worried whether you're fast enough to compete or not. If you can solve it in under 10 mins then you're fine.

edit 2: Your title is misleading. You should request to change it to "Should I come to US Nationals 2012?" or something similar.

Go. You will have a blast. At my first competition I was averaging 50 seconds, and now from going to competitions, I have been motivated to become sub-15 (which I almost am).

On October 15,2010 I averaged like 41 seconds. Then about 3 and a 1/2 months later on January 3,2011 I averaged about 21 seconds. Not very hard to improve.
