Iffy subject. I almost think that modding, collecting, and speedcubing should be in 3 different categories. I've noticed that cubers are becoming increasingly lazy when it comes to putting in any actual work into improving their cubes. (Case and point all of the people raving about the Shengshou 5x5 and it's superiority to the V Cube 5) I'm just getting sick and tired of the people who spend more time making videos and reviewing cubes instead of actually earning the credibility it takes to review a puzzle and have an opinion that means anything. It's like hey guys, this cube is great, I'm barely sub 30.

speedcubin for sure.
i used to likemodding/collecting but 1. i'm horrible at modding and 2. i don't use the puzzles i'd only buy for collecting sakes enough for them to be worth it/the money.

When I started cubing I was mostley interested in how the the mechanism worked and different puzzles. I used to make my own and be very creative but now it's only speed.
