Funny as hell, didn't watch it all cause my quota sucks... But then I ended up watching different vids of yours anyway =P. I wasn't really interested in the review itself, just your comedy =].

Weird that quite a few people didn't know xxoxia's stuff already. These were some of the first vids I watched on cubing back when I started.. I actually thought that the average cuber was like this in general back then (at least until I finished up watching his material and moved on to other vidcubers that is) Man was I wrong ;)...

This is the only YouTube cube stuff that I revisit and actually rewatch now and again purely for the entertainment value.

@ xxoxia: aren't your new vids on your own channel yet?

Hahahaha, dude, I only have about 170 subs. Not too many people know about me quite yet, and out of the ones that do, a lot of them hate me. Those are most of the people subbed to tall5001, hahaha. Those people like the normal, laid back, cuber format. I'm just curious, how did you first find me, and if you can remember, what video of mine was the first one you saw? Esquimalt1 was really one of the first subs I had, besides my wife and a few other people, hahaha. Chris Bird used to be subbed to me, but in one of my videos a while back, I said " if you unsub Xxoxia, you won't live to see your next birthday", so he unsubbed me, but now I have Pest Vic, so I've had two of the original 5AC members subbed to me, hahaha. I haven't put a lot of my SickXTB videos on my main channel because a lot of the Sick subs are my subs, and I figured they wouldn't want to see the same video being posted.

LingYun AV-f review. I did a search for a LingYun review and happened to like your hair-do on the thumb ;) I ended up watching all 4 parts at least 5 times before getting the actual cube. Although your review is whack, the LingYun turned out exactly as you described it ;) Even now the review is still one of my all time favorite YouTube vids (not only cube related ones at that). Stickerless GuHong was the one that reeled me in though.

I haven't subbed to anything on YouTube to honest, I never did get a YouTube account. Count me in in future though, I'll probably have the same user name as soon as I register.

I didn't even know the SickXTB stuff was up there. Did you mention it in your xxoxia vids? If so then I wasn't paying attention or was most probably, stoned. Yeah, I was probably stoned...

Oh well. Hope more people come to appreciate your vids in the future. But yeah, as you already mentioned, it's love/ hate caliber material so...

Hahahaha, yeah dude, I've mentioned SickXTB a few times. It's a collab channel with me, tall5001, avidcuber and bobo11420, although, the last two are away and not active at the moment. Dude, I got my Zhan Chi yesterday, and I'm so pissed off. It's really good, but when I put it together, the screws were crooked, so the cube felt weird. I took out the crappy Dayan core and put it in a type A core I had lying around, but that had crooked holes too, so now I can't get the tensions right. All I have are used Dayan cores lying around, with crooked holes in them. So, I can't even use my Zhan Chi and like it. Man, I forgot about that 4 part double review, ahhahahaa. I watched it again after reading this. No one has ever done that, that I can see anyway. Hahahaha.

Talking of that: What about the netherlands not letting us germans - well, not only us, all people from foreign countries - into the special shops any more and buy stuff?

As if I hadn't seen this comming... If I hear you ***** around 20 more times about crocket screws (I guess this will take a little since I don't have any time right now), I guess I will go into my catia and design some crocket proof cores... :-/

See...so then I was just effed up whilst watching ;) Your "stick it to the camera" stuff gets me slightly paranoid when I've been smoking hahaha ;) Cool stuff.
That sucks bruv :( Do you use C4U cores at all? I just order those if I need replacement cores. They're the same as the MHZ ones on Lightake:

http://lightake.com/detail.do/sku.MHZ_Core___Screws___Springs_Set_(New)-29962

Good cores made of decent, ridged plastic. Still waiting for my retail ZC. Really interested in comparing it to the prototype I have.

P.S. Still need to answer your last PM, sorry for the wait ;)

I haven't heard about the coffeeshop thing bruv. I mean, I'm a "Zerman" but don't get any hassle...Okay, so I've lived here for the past 8 years, but I'm still a foreigner in terms of ID. I have read that they're being more strict concerning shrooms and stuff though. Tourists were freaking out and jumping out of windows on that sh*t. It has definitely been said that weed/hash and shrooms have gotten a lot stronger over the past 5 years, some tourists just aren't used to it and go ape. I don't do shrooms so I can't really confirm that part, but the THC content of pot has gone up quite a bit IMO. But yeah, bias against tourists would be slightly counter productive to the economy here, so I doubt that they would go too far.

Just make a threaded core anyway, it's a good idea either way ;)

EDIT

PS. Just noticed that I still need to answer your last PM too. Sorry for keeping you waiting.
Man, I suck at keeping PMs up to date at the moment....

That was actually pretty informative...I have long suspected that crooked screws have given people the wrong impression about any given cube. I'll receive two identical cubes assembled, and one will be better than other. Aaargh!!!

The Alpha CC is a weird technological terror...it's even more alien than Haiyan's cube, and it feels like all that wiry spaghetti on the inside is catching all over itself. One of my edge stalks fell off inside the cube...you could hear this rattling sound and the cube was grinding really bad. Just sick! Ugh...I don't see any clear way to screw these in...?

anyway, good review...subscribed!

Actually it seems I mixed something up - it was only about Maastricht... and yeah, state revenue would suffer a lot if it was forbidden everywhere. Think about Amsterdam... it would be died out without the drug-tourists.

For the core... we'll see. I'd need a company manufacturing it... well, I have good connections to the manager of one I once was working with and they might produce it for olmost nothing (as an exercise fot the apprentices)... well, we'll see what happenes. But definitely not anytime soon.

Yeah, there's a PM waiting ;-)

Thanks dude! If you take the edges apart, but keep the stalk installed, you stick the little screw down through the edge into the stalk, and you'll see this round thing sticking up from the bottom of the stalk inside, and you just screw the screw down into that. It is hard to see at first. Look at a stalk while it's not connected yet, and you'll see two holes down inside. One is to screw a screw in for weight, while the other holds it to the edge.

Got it, thanks! That ****ing stalk is NEVER coming off now! :)

My first legitimate cubing-related video.

Thanks for watching. Stay tuned for more videos (hopefully)

[Video]Alpha CC Review

This is a pretty interesting cube, like it or not. It IS a little bit overhyped, like every cube released nowadays. However, I really enjoy the use of this cube. I found it odd that I actually got through the mechanism talk while editing. Usually I drag on and on about it.
Anyway, hope you enjoy my review! :)
