[WR] 5.66 3x3x3 Single Feliks Zemdegs

You just made that up.

I will admit that I did, but it was my 23rd attempt at trying to come up with a complicated expression that would involve the WR solve time and still equal 23. Also, I ate 23 pieces of frosted flakes shortly before coming up with the expression, which I think is how I was able to tap into the ether and discover this truly magnificent revelation! ;)

Edit: My post count after posting that initial 23-post was 4388, and 4+3+8+8=23.

You also made that post 23 years before someone born on today's date will have their 23rd birthday.

My mind = blown

;)

I will stop my silliness :)

I'm being silly because I believe that any number with a "reasonable" magnitude can be found just as often as the number 23 if one looks hard enough for them.

I do find these coincidences with the number 23 somewhat amusing, but I don't find them particularly mystifying.

Yes, but I still find it funny and interesting that you can rather easily find a number you're looking for, and the real examples here were rather neat. But when you make it up out of nothing instead of finding it, that doesn't illuminate the phenomenon but distracts from it.

That post contained 23 out of the 26 letters. ZOMG

5+1+4+4+9 = 23

Borderline, as it's quite possible that you intentionally waited until it was 51 minutes.

10 + 4 + 9 = 23.

Borderline, as you're inconsistently splitting some digits but not others.

Wrong, 22. It's missing j, q, v and z. But good idea.

On facebook, Feliks has 273 photos and 3602 friends.

2+7+3+3+6+0+2=23

why is it ok when Stefan hijacks a thread
while others would get a warning for doing the same thing ?
just saying ...

Congratz Faz !!!!
simply amazing.

But he then went on arguing about the correctness of each example
and this, in my opinion, has nothing to do with the WR ...

anyway ... I dont want to open a new discussion ...

I think page 15 of a thread is about where you can slowly start to loosen up a bit. At that point everything interesting has been said and it's just a pointless stream of more and more "congrats! amazing!" comments. So what value did you have to add other than complaining?

Congratz Faz !!!!
simply amazing.

Ah. Right.
