I've been cubing for a week and I've only managed to get sub 60...

5: 01:11.85(Bad Tensions)
4: 00:59.57
3: 01:09.16(Bad Tensions)
2: 00:54.79
1: 00:53.77

I know F2L intuitive, Most of the 2 Look OLL, and beginners method PLL..

I need to make my sub 40 goal!! HOW???

Here is my average stuff though

Cross:
w/ inspection avg: sub 6
w/o Inspection avg: sub 8
Unlucky Avg: sub 10-12

F2L:
Average: 29.55

OLL(Beginners method):
Average:00:08.80

PLL(Beginners method):
Average:00:13.79

Predicted Average: 58.14 - 64

Yeah thats how I learned how to do F2L. But I never look ahead while doing. But I guess I might try it.

But I saw Feliks Zemdegs first sub 20 and it looked like he had terrible look ahead. But he solved the F2L pairs with a high turn speed???????????

My whole average dropped to sub 50 now. But I screwed up my tension and those videos on youtube don't help at all.

EXPLORE! Petrus! ZZ! Roux! L2L4! Heise! Etcetera!
I use the former three as my main methods, Roux is my best of course.

Have a go! See what you like best! You're not trapped like those people who know OLL and PLL, although that isn't much of a hinderance at all tbh (nor an advantage).
CFOP is just one of many methods, and with blockbuilding it's always best to start early.
Good luck!

Hmm, well what you need is a magical potion that will drop your times like crazy. Because obviously you don't like the good old phrase " practice makes perfect".

And all you need is LBL for 40 seconds. And with the magic of keyhole ( requires no new algorithms) plus 4 look last layer you can even get sub 25. XP

Nice Title :tu

yeah lol.

You DO realize that getting faster takes some work? It doesn't just happen overnight. And Feliks is Feliks, don't worry about that. Maybe he solved the cube 5+ hours each day for 2-3 months to get that fast (I wouldn't know). Just make sure you are learning new algorithms, new tricks, new fingertricks, more lookahead each day. Slowly (or quickly), you'll improve. Just be patient.

Keys to getting faster:

1.Purchase every current model of 3x3 and hybridize between all of them.

2. Make a youtube review of every cube

3. Come up with an idea for your new method of solving the cube

4. Ask the speedsolving forum for tips

5. ????

6. Profit!

So you're a winner huh tough guy? Tssss, gimme a break :(...
You basically come here demanding help and when people give you good advice, you slap their hands away when the suggestion doesn't suit your lazy means of reaching your "goal". What you're really looking for is some kind of miracle cure for your "condition". I say; take what has been provided here and then go practice. Try to figure some of this sh*t out for yourself instead of posting self righteous dump. Whilst I sincerely admire your spunk, I detest your general stance.

Feel free to slap me back btw. I'll even take my specs off for you.
