I'm disappointed. These computerised solvers should stop using... erm... computerised solvers to solve the cube and use something more hardcore like Petrus, or Roux, or ZZ

I know a Robosapien V2 who lives down the road from my place that can solve a 3x3x3 sub 5 with its "feet". His name is Bob. Bob hates DaYan cubes for some reason...won't let me in if I have one with me.

Otherwise you'd just measure the time it takes the robot to do <= 20 moves. Calculating a short solution in a decent time is also a challenge a "fast" robot should be good at.

Hmmm. When does the first turn take place? It's hard to tell. Did it look at each face then start the solution? I would assume that it does do a "1 look" solve as opposed to scanning as it goes?

I think it starts turning at about 3 seconds. After it scanned the faces.
