Hi everyone, my name is ethancrook99, I'm an 11 year old cuber that uses 4look ll and fridrich f2l, I average 25 seconds on 3x3, sub-2 on 4x4, and am sub-4 on 5x5, sub-7 on 6x6, and barely sub-10 on 7x7. I hope to be sub-20 on 3x3 soon.

Welcome! I was in the exact same position as you three months ago (apart from being fast at big cubes)- I knew 4LLL and was using fridrich, I averaged about 25. Then I learnt some PLLs, then got bored and switched to roux (I now average 18). You are pretty fast for 4LLL! Now's the decision: learn the PLLs, knowing that you'll ultimately learn the OLLs, or, switch to a less algorithm-intensive method. Choose wisely, or you'll end up like me: I know 20+ useless algorithms! Have fun!

Welcome! And wow, you're quite fast for a 4LLL solver!

Also, I was also more-or-less in the same area as 5BLD, except I only ever average around 35 with Fridrich, 4LLL, and then I switched to Roux, now averaging around 25. My advice to you is pretty much the same as 5BLD's...

Yaay, another 11 year old cuber =P Although I am turning 12 in exactly 3 weeks...
anyway, I average about 17-19 seconds, depending on if I'm doing good or not. Although I just use fridrich.
I also suggest joining the race to sub-20 thread.

Roux is a really fun method, you should try it out!

¡Sí, muy, muy divertido! ¿Cómo es tu evolución con Roux? ¿Recuerdas nuestra conversación en español de roux? Fue divertido...

But yeah, don't think that because your fast it's too late to switch! Give all the methods a good go.

I feel a little suspicious about snyder... I mean tony doesn't give a full explanation of how it works, yet he claims it's the best method in the world... I'd love to be proven wrong, though. (I feel a strange sense of deja vu here...)
