I've been practicing F2l, 2LOll, and 2LPll for about 2 weeks and my times are still averaging around 50 seconds. On occasion I'm getting 40 seconds and 32 seconds once...but I'm still averaging 50 seconds.
Any advice.

I was stuck there as well for a long time, then dropped to about 45 second average currently and stuck there as well for a bit(though been practicing other stuff more lately). Seems like a lot of times you'll get stuck on one time for a while and then suddenly make a breakthrough and quickly improve for a bit before settling in to a new average again for a while.
Aside from practicing more and working on tracking pieces/lookahead on f2l, it'd be hard to say much more without knowing more info like how long each step takes you or having a video of some of your solves though(even just watching the video yourself might help if you dont want to post it on here since you'll see more clearly where you're pausing and how long)

Practice lookahead and optimal(by all means) cross. Maybe also look at the execution of 2loll and 2lpll, as those have some cool fingertricks. Dont use F (RUR'U')x3 F' :D

Continue practicing, and it's maybe your finguer tricks. I just start f2l , (training it), and i average around 45-47 with beginner only.

wow...you just need to learn the algorithms of patience and hard work...I guarantee they will speed you up in no time. You just have to wait.

Don't learn look-ahead!

I don't know why people obsess over this. It's clearly beneficial once you hit lower times, but at 50 seconds, I'm sure there other things that can be worked on. A video would help, but these are "easy" things that you can practice and you should be able to improve quickly.

1. Cross - Optimize it. Be comfortable solving it blindfolded.
2. OLL - Two look is fast when practiced. If you don't like how the cross is made, you can check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vq3cC6wgEGg
3. PLL - Two look can also be fast.
4. To practice LL, just drill the algorithms - 2LOLL + 2LPLL can be easily sub-10; this means you have 30 extra seconds for cross and F2L if you want sub-40.
5. Considering cross takes you 10 seconds (which is an absurd amount of time), you have 30 seconds for F2L (thus, you don't need lookahead).
6. Practice!!

Good luck.

Practice a LOT. Thats all there is to it. Cube daily, until you standarize your solves and do moves automatically/faster using muscle memory. For now, don't worry about lookahead and just focus on speeding up what you already know.

Good luck!

At 50 seconds, turn faster...look-ahead is essentially useless.

This.
