Ohai, it's been a while!

well panda i'm fairly new so haven't met you. but glad to see you anyway.

But there are some amazing brand new dayan cubes, top of the line stuff, felik's regularly gets 5.3 second 3x3 solves at his house (on video) and v cubes are still faggots.

btw. look into a new cube =)

Really? Have they improved that much? I'm still using my JSK core/ C4Y cubies. Did the ones with tracks go anywhere? How about that V Cube mechanism in the 3 did anything like that come out yet? C4Y still the place to go to? Any specific models you'd recommend I try? I bet it's like the Type Z 5a(7) by now.

Felix is the man. I wasn't surprised to see not much happened with V Cube. Are the knock offs just running absolutely rampant yet? I remember that being a pretty hot topic back in the day.

http://www.lightake.com/
cuz cheap

or

http://cubingstore.webs.com/
cuz it's east coast based

and I suggest looking to Dayan cubes. The Dayan GuHong is a good all around cube. For 4x4 I do suggest the Dayan+Mf8.

Woah. Pillowed 4s and all kinds of unfamiliar puzzles. I won't worry about 4x4 I just need my 3s, and 5-7. I'm getting an adjustable core since I have broken cores and 2 disassembled V5s in plastic bags. I'll probably ask around and try out a new 3. I actually have an income and tons of money now so I can buy whatevaaa

Panda is back o:
Three main 3x3s on the market, and they all come from the same company.
The DaYan GuHong (DaYan II), LingYung (III), and the DaYan LunHui (IIII).
I suppose there's no point hiding, I've had a username change, but you should remember me from my YouTube channel :s

Welcome back. I've missed your crazy psychedelic avatar. :)

Only by those with the answers...
I LOLLED and got sad at the same time. Is this really how people think about this forum?
I agree that "don't ask questions THAT HAVE BEEN ASKED AND ANSWERED a dozen times before" again is the mantra for many people, but the "One question/answer thread" seems to have fixed that situation greatly, and the search has improved as well

Welcome back, even though I've never met you. =D
Ya I'm sorta new with a sub-20 average, but I broke my arm so I average more like sub 25 now. =[
Anyway, depending on when you 'left' you have missed ALOT.
The best cubing shop for you is probably http://www.cubedepotusa.com/ (From the East Coast) or http://www.speedcubeshop.com/ (From the West Coast.)
The 3x3s are so much more 'hi-tech' now compared the the C4U cubes, etc.
Just look on youtube and search for "Dayan guhong review" or "MF8 3x3 review" (Even though the mf8 is not that good, it has a cool mech)

Is there people who still use F-IIs? I haven't seen one in forever.

I know I don't count for much, but it's still my main. I much prefer it over my guhong, so I'd imagine there are others still who would prefer it to the guhong. Panda could possibly be one of those people, but he wouldn't know till he tried.
I just thought it wouldn't be fair to leave it out, because rowe was quite fast with it for a time...

Hahahahaha I was just kidding. <3 I'm glad to hear that the search engine is better it wasn't very effective before. I used to just use google and use parameters I.E. site:speedsolving.com BLD
Yay a fast petrus user to look up (as well as Eric of course). I remember that you were just leaving as I was joining.
