Extremely lucky averages

I just did an average with 1 PLL skip, 2 OLL skips and an edge OLL skip (I use 2 look).

10.79(pll), 12.51(edge oll), 13.72(oll), 13.91(oll), 17.32

= 13.38 (σ = 0.62)

Have you had any luckier averages?

Since he uses 2-look OLL, that's when the first part (edge orientation) is already done.

My previous PB Ao5 had one PLL skip, one OLL skip and an accidental double F2L insertion.

I haven't had a lucky average for 3x3 ,but for 2x2 I did. I was using fridrich on a 2x2 and 4/5 solves had pll skips making them all sub 4. My average then turned out to be like 3 seconds it was amazing.

Thats absolutely crazy. I'm so unlucky, I've never had a LL skip before in my life.

I've done round about when i've solved my first cube til now, 7000 solves.

I'm pretty sure thats a LL skip with no AUF 15552 over 1

It isn't just skips...F2L can run really well several solves in a row, and it's difficult to measure.

Your "Edge OLL skip"s don't have to be lucky
You should start using partial edge control

My luckier averages are pretty much just good crosses or F2L. My cube doesn't like skipping steps ;-;

This is nuts. Sometimes better than a skip.

I never had averages as lucky as you guys ! One time 3 PLL skips in a row and never a timed LL skip.

I had the same LL twice in a row I think I've had this multiple times (different LLs, same twice in a row)
Luckiest single would be LL skip after 27 move F2L, 28 move solve.

I've never had a LL skip. I'd say I do an average of 75 solves a day since Jan 2008 so 10/3 * 360 * 75 = ~90,000 solves done lifetime (that's kind of sad now that I think about it ). You think I would have gotten one by now.

I have never gotten an LL skip in my life.
I very rarely get skips of any kind. In a total of 124 solves today, I had one OLL skip (which was my ridiculous sub-10 35 move solve on orange cross :3), no PLL skips. In a total of over 250 solves yesterday, I had one PLL skip, no OLL skips. Ya.
