I'd take my MF8 Legend. It's a mini cube (well, not meant to be), turns well, and can be used for any 3x3 event.

My megaminx. It'll keep me entertained for quite a while and won't take too long like the 7x7 (avg 4 mins at megaminx, 11-12 mins at 7x7). I can solve it quicker in case i have to put it away. I wouldn't want to bring a 3x3, because it would get really boring because it doesn't take long at all to solve and isn't really anything I'm not completely used to.

Why just one? Two cubes would fit in a carry on bag for a bus or an other vehicle for the most part. You'll get more enjoyment from the cubes than you will the box of slim jims you threw in your bag for a snack.
