[Unofficial] Looking for advice

1 look PLL? or at least whatever you did in the first solve that you needed to do H perm. for f2l it looks like you are rushed but have slow turnspeed, much like me when i try to rush. the 18 sec solve could have been sub 15 if you would have been more calm when you seen all the already finished pairs lol. when you slow down and turn more buttery, you not only get better lookahead capabilities, but in a pinch, you're not rushed feeling when you see really good things happen.

I know 15 plls so some are 1 look some 2 look
I don't know V, Nb, and 4 Gs
i hope to learn v and nb before the comp
any suggestions on the algs i should use?

This may only be good if you have a fast Jb perm, but for Nb I just do the Jb perm twice. You'll have to rotate the top layer a few times after the first Jb perm though

Theace: but I suck with my left hand:( I tried that with Ra, Which is at best 3.5+, while my Rb can get down to 1.5 sometimes
mrindianteen: i tried it but still ended up with an Na perm, maybe i'm doing something wrong
Nb is this
visualcube.php

I end up with this
visualcube.php

Mirrors are almost always crap unless you're mirroring an awesome alg like the T-Perm and even then unless you drill it a lot it's probably going to be slower than an R U dominant alg.

Don't worry too much about N perms. They only come up 1/72 each according to Badmephisto

These threads help me alot

This post that Chris posted on this page is very useful

Go through your F2l algs and compare them to the ones on the wiki. Don't choose move optimum solution but Speed optimum.

Practice F2L blind folded. Work out how you solve the first one then solve it while tracking the two pieces then solve those.

Learn A couple of the basic OLL
T,P W, C, Square and the two easy fish cases. Most of these cases are already in your muscle memory from PLL. T perm is made up of 2 OLLs.

Work on F2l

What is the breakdown of your times on average
Cross
F2l
OLL
Pll

Use a metronome. Put it so you are doing 3 turns per second. You turn too slowly
Practice fast triggers. RUR'U' R'FRF'

Your cross isn't that great either. Try Colour Neutral or Colour Duel
