I just HAD to post this because it was sooooo lucky yet unluck at the same time... I was doing the 3x3x3 stage (F2L part) and when I finished I saw an OLL parity, so I did that and the there was a PLL parity which I didn't know..... so if this was on a 3x3x3 it would of been a LL skip (OLL+PLL) but insted I got two paritys......
Post you luckiest and unluckiest solve here if you want but I just HAD to share it. :D

How does that mean you would have got an LL skip on a 3x3?
My luckiest solves were an LL skip with a real cube and an LL skip on the heise simulator.

I would have to say that my most unluckiest solves ever were my one-handed ones from San Diego 2007. On one solve I dropped the cube and on another one I dropped the cube AND popped it. The piece went flying over the station and I ran around to grab it but Devin(Corr-Robinett) picked it up and tried to hand ti to me. Then the judge quickly said, "You can't help," se he dropped it and I had to grab it from the floor, rush back to my timer station, reassemble the cube, and finish the solve to get a miserable 1:11.93(I think my average was laround 49-55 seconds at the time).

2 parities=solveable cube, doesn't it?

My luckiest solve. I got an X-cross. After that, I immediately saw another pair and inserted that. The other 2 were like that also.

My unluckiest solve was when I was using my friend's cube. i wasn't going for speed because it wasn't lubed, sanded, or anything. The color scheme was messed up and all but one of my F2L slots had been wrong.

Yea I had a LL skip but both LL paritys.

4x4 at princeton. I messed up on centers. Can't see edges. Slow 3x3 part. Double parity. Didn't see the PLL parity. 6min DNF. Worst thing ever. I usually get 3:30 back then. Now I'm about 35s faster.

my most unlucky solve is probably my 9:28 5x5 at Stetson. I'm doing quite well and am about to turn in my last center when I get a huge pop! Around 10 pieces or more pop out over the table. After reassembling it I start my last two centers over and continue. I arrive at the LL of the 3x3 part to find I had assembled it wrongly! So I had to take it apart and put it back together...I was just going for a stackmat at that point...

my luckiest was an unofficial scramble, but it was a quadruple x-cross, FRUR'U'F' orient, then U perm. it was like 11 secs or something, and i was averaging 32-33 at the time. i never counted it though, since it was total bull. i did, however, figure out the reverse of the solve. to solve the cross i think i did D2 L R' F2. and that was it. unlucky is when individual corners get flipped and i get OLLs that dont exist. that was only when my diy was loose though.

My luckiest solve was a 5 move xx-cross and then a edge in the slot and a corner facing...left I think and it paired up the 4th pair and LL skip. The solve was like 5 seconds...

My unluckiest solve was when I was solving my 2x2 on cubemania (using fredrich) and I kept on messing up on the first layer, then when I finally did it correctly, I messed up on the OLL, then I kept on messing up on the first layer again, so I decided to DNF with 45 seconds on the clock. lol
