Hi, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.
I have a speed cube and sometimes, when I turn it, an edge piece pops out.
This in turn causes public embarrassment and annoyance.
Any help would be much appreciated.

This is the only helpful advice you'll get from anybody:

1) Get a different cube
2) Tighten the tension
3) Deal with it and stop complaining

If you want to know what cube to get, or what to do for tensioning and lubing, then you need to look around the forums more- there are many threads about these topics. If you want people to get angry with you, continue making repeat threads, and start complaining about your cube.

Sorry, didn't mean to seem like a troll.
Thanks for the advice.

corner and edge.
look like a type c2 w/ cubesmith smooth tiles at first glance.. need to see the internals.. .pop out a corner and an edge and take a pic of them

Try putting your nail under the center to try taking it out.

If it can't come out, then it is not adjustable and you can't tighten it, and the best things to do would probably be:

1) Get a new cube ( I can give you suggestions if you want )

2) Try turning a bit slower (if possible)

I've tried and tried, it's not coming off.
The cube's had it's time.
Can you suggest me a cube that:

1) Won't give me this problem
2) Is suitable for speedcubing
3) Is smooth (?)

GuHongs are what most people will say. A-Vs are good and it's my first and only speedcube but I've handled many GuHongs. I plan on upgrading to a GuHong once I decide to drop money on another 3x3 instead of a totally new puzzle. (Square-1 is calling me lately)
