Ok so earlier I was like having a solving session on qqtimer. It was weird though because I kept getting PB's, first I got 46 sec (my average before this was somewhere between 50-55 sec). And then I got two 45 seconds, and then just a few minutes ago I got 30.52 sec. It was amazing, the scramble was: D R' F2 L2 B R L2 D R' B L' U L' U D L2 D' R' L2 F B2 L2 R U' F2. Has this happened to any of you?

Yep, I had something like that a while ago. I was averaging about 35-40 seconds, and all of a sudden, I got a 24.xx Ao5. I was wondering if I had improved in 10 minutes, but no, I went back down to 37 Ao12's :P.

I tried this scramble, there is a nice GREEN line all set up, if you used the WCA scramble position, and a white line one too. I got 27.43, which isn't bad for me, seeing as I average now about 30

What's the wca scramble position? I throw my cube in the air and whatever position I catch it in I scramble it in. Also it was a pll skip so yeah.

I got my first sub 20 non lucky. Then a few minutes later I got an 18.63 pll skip I think then a few days later I got a 17.xx cant remember if it was lucky, then a few mins later I got a 16.77 pll skip then a 17.03 non lucky then about a couple weeks later a 16.17 non lucky and a week after a 16.01 lucky then a few days later 15.66 non lucky. 25% drop in PB times in about a month.

Ok, I guess I'll start scrambling in wca scramble position. Oh and flan, what's you normal average?

Back when I averaged 40-50 I would set a new PB very often. The most I've set a new PB in one day was 4 times. 49.47, then 47.53, followed by 46.58 then finally 45.97. There were a lot of times where I'd set a new PB twice in one day or even three times.

My best solves are always when I'm not even timing. I somehow feel more pressure when there's a clock running. I guess I need to just have the clock running every time so that it becomes natural

the scramble you posted in the OP is pretty easy. I got a 16 full step with yellow cross (I am not at all color neutral.) The OLL killed me, last pair was an R U R' insert so i didn't do edge control and got the no edges L OLL. R U R' U' SH U2 SH... I suck at that alg.
