Finally got sub minute yesterday. was kinda strange, beat my personal best 6 times in one average of 12  . last pb was 1:08.xx... None were lucky, except, ironically, the 1:14.

Thanks!
I've been keeping a scatterplot of 5 solves every day (another proof of my love for stats), and it's interesting to see how I'm progressing. My average has been going down ~5 sec a day.

Sub one minute was a big mental milestone for me. So congrats!

My next one was to average under 60 seconds, and from there, to have ZERO solves in a session go over 60 seconds.

As for your improvement, expect it to keep going, but it won't drop by the same amount forever, as you are approaching zero, so improvements will become smaller at some point. Best of luck to you!

Brian.

I still have not broken the 1 minute barrier and was wondering how long it took you to do it. Also, are you using intuitive F2L?

He's using the Petrus Method, if you check out his signature. So yes, he is using intuitive F2L.

I started cubing like last month, but I only started learning the Petrus Method on 4/19/08, so a little under 2 weeks

Hmmm, that's interesting, I didn't know that the Petrus method allowed one to go that fast. Great job in such a short period! I appreciate the replies.

Nice job man!

When did you start cubing, because i remeber when i got my sub-1 i was happy as crazy. Don;t worry your on your journey to mabey the next fastest cuber :D

I hope you enjoy your fun in cubing and if you need anyhelp just send me a pm and ill try to help.

Thanks Hadley4000 and joey. I see now that Rowe Hessler is one of our best cubers. I continue to be amazed by the many approaches there are to the cube; and, as time passes, am more and more fascinated by it. At this point, I am less concerned with speed and am just trying to enjoy learning, something which the members of this forum are really helping me do.
