Mini QJ 4x4 Lockup

hey guys, i was solving my 4x4 and it pooped and the whole thing fell apart, so when i put it back together this happened:

i was wondering if this happened to anyone else and if there was a way to fix it without taking the core appart?! Thanks

Nice.... Sorry I cant be much help just had to point that out.

its because the core was put together wrong, there is a little nub and a hole, it they dont fit together the core will twist with the layers and then cannot do slices

Take the cube apart. There's a screw on the core(ya, it's the core, but it's really easy, I promise). So unscrew the core, it'll only be two pieces. Then line the 'lines'(the things the pieces hook on to) up and screw it back in. It should work fine after that.

well if it was fine before, then no, its your fault.
and its no worth sending it back or whatever you plan to do, just fix it, its 1 screw and 2 semicircles. just make sure the nub thing and hole line up when you tighten it.

but now it doesnt turn as well, should i lube it tomorrow or lossen the tention? or both

Actually I would never loosen the tension on a QJ, but if you want to experiment go to it. I say just lube it up and work it in.
