What is the best lubricant???

But dont use ANY WD-40 BRANDS on your cube and silicone that has PETROLEUM DISSILATES on it. k?

I was more meaning what is the best brand. I know it has to be a sillicone based one, but what brand specifically would be best???

OKay sorry about that, I use the standard CRC Heavy Duty SIlicone spray. Haven't tried Lubix though.

CRC Heavy Duty, the most common and reliable lubricant.

Erm. Maru is good for lots of speed. Lubix is good for lots of smoothness and a little speed. Jiggaloo is good for speed and ok for smoothness.

Of course there's other brands like tableau which I haven't really heard about. Buts shock oil is also very good. I have 15 wt.

I put lubix in for a long-lasting lube and then put in shock oil or maru if I want some more speed.

So take your pick on what you want your cube to do.

I cannot afford silicone spray, so I have been using canola oil. Is that a taboo? It goes really fast.

Canola oil will work great for a while, but then it becomes sticky and very hard to clean out. I recommend you get some Jigaloo or CRC - it's only like $3 for a can, will last for years, and can be bought from Walmart or Home Depot (and probably others).

I agree. Canola oil, vaseline, etc. will work for a while, but i gets worse over time. Invest in some good lube (CRC, Jigaloo, etc.)
