So, I only want SCS lubes, but I don't know which one I want to get. Could you guys help me out with which one is best? If there are any SCS unrelated lubes, please tell me.

I use stardust and lunar combo and cubicle silk (and I just got angstrom lubes for christmas)

i havent really tried any lube since i dont have any lube but i heard that stardust and martian are good. and im also getting stardust

I really want the Comet lube, but it doesn't have much control. And what does "gummy" mean?
Comet is one of the more useless lubes, if you want some speed with control, Martian and Galaxy are good. Gumminess refers to the amount of drag the lube has on the pieces, with a higher one feely sticky and thicker.

I don't use any of the above lubes; my personal limited experience is as follows:

Weight 30 differential oil works fine, slows the cube a bit, makes it more controllable (few drops), but I don't really love the feeling
Angstrom setup plus DNM-37 makes the cube very controllable and at a speed that feels right, but requires maintenance

I would recommend moving this thread to the Hardware Area.
