Sorry, as I am reletively new to the forum, and I don't really know where this should go...

I see that there are few competitions in Wisconsin which is kinda dissapointing, and I don't like the drive all the way to Minnesota, and Illinois is few also...

I was wondering if there were people interested in having a competition in Wisconsin? How many people would try to attend? I am willing to put in the effort of arranging it if there would be people to attend...

You have no idea how many people have tried, (and failed) to get a comp in WI. I think Bryan needs a lay off of comps for now anyway.

Well, Cubetcha's in November, December is way too busy, and January through March is out because you never know what the travel's going to be like. I'm not going to drive 13 hours in a blizzard in order to let the locals compete.

Weather.com?

In my experience, they'll post many "The weather is going to be bad this weekend" and probably 2/3rds aren't as bad as they say. There's also 1 major storm they never expect. You can't really tell if driving conditions are going to suck until that day. No one wants a competition canceled that late.

And if there was a big storm where people coming from the east could get there but not people coming from the west, I guarantee they would say, "Why didn't Bryan come? The roads were fine."
