Stefan:
i dont know, but i think, that i know all of the puzzles he solved blinfolded and megaminx is not one of them.
We talked about solving it bld and realized, that memo wouldnt be THAT hard (still pretty hard i think) but that the setup-moves are BAD!
I need the algs, wich you used to solve megaminx blindfolded, please:):D:D!!!

Greetings...Dennis;):)

WHAT?!
are you guys sure, that Chris did it in THAt time i mean?!
I need some good algs for that!
memo works...

Greetings...Dennis;):)

Well Stefan:
(Fake) 2-cycles? I think i know, what you mean, cause there arent "real" 2-cycles possible, but how would you do that...AND: Can you really get that fast? Like Chris?!

Greetings...Dennis;):)

Well, "fake" meaning to have some side effect. Either two other pieces swapped back and forth, or using a secondary buffer (with buffers A and B, shoot to X with 3-cycle A->X->B, then shoot to Y with 3-cycle A->B->Y, and repeat alternating the direction of the 3-cycle). I think 5 seconds execution per piece might be reasonable, with 50 pieces that's then about four minutes execution. Memo is probably about as hard as 4x4, so sub-10 overall should be possible.

Why hasn't Chris submitted his record to SCC?

Really, the UWR lists would accept anything nowadays. Some guy made a claim about a non-lucky solve, in which it involved a 4-move F2L, and a 2-orient LL.
