super slow at solving!

ok, peeps, i just reread your suggestions and will just trying to use em, but keep the advice coming plz.

if you really have to pause that long to figure out what to do next, seriously start using a beginner method. Only looking for one piece at a time and solving them in the same way every time would require a lot less pauses when you aren't used to how to do intuitive F2L

I am with Micael on this I really want to see a video

i already made a full tranistion to fridrich, i just tried the beginners method and it took around the same time as fridrich, doesnt make difference.

ok, ill try all of your suggestions for 1 week, reporting my progress everyday on here.

Your triple posts are going to get you a warning if you do one more (not to sound like a mod).

Post a video please.

Uh, it's just me, but I would think that you'd try to get around a minute with a beginner method before learning anything after that..

A beginner method shouldn't slow down your times if you're executing correctly; an example would be just layer by layer with 4LLL. People can average sub 30 with that, me included (although I just use F2L).

Listen to what these folks are telling you. I've been cubing for less than two weeks and I had a 1:28 solve today using basic methods (pogobat's on Youtube).

Learning to solve the cross faster helped me a lot, as well as being smoother when executing the algorithms and transitioning from algorithm to algorithm.

To translate: basic method + practice = faster cuber :)

People have sub-20 averages with 4LLL and LBL. Erik's, for example.

Yea, I was stuck in China with limited internet when I started cubing; every day, I'd have time to learn 1 step of cubing (because the rest of the time I was training for table tennis), and out of boredom I'd just repeat it over and over and over again. The minute I learned how to solve the last layer, I was at about a minute.
