Hey guys, it's Regisiew, and I created a new account here because I'm associating my new un-spammed email address with a lot of different sites (being unaware of the fact that I could change my email address on my original account). Regardless, that's not what I was intending to talk about. As promised, I have been working on a new site that will be released in August. I just got back from the manufacturer of the Edison cube, and bought 50 cubes. I will recurringly purchase more, if all goes well of course. My website's purpose was to allow cuber's to get cubes for cheaper prices, profit not really mattering much. Coming to that, I will be selling Edison cube's for under $10, though having not done the math yet, I'm not sure exactly how much under $10. It could be $5, or $9, who knows. I just wanted to tell you that I've been working to get good priced cubes over the summer and it's going well.

EDIT: If you want to watch the site update, it's at speedcuber.webs.com (the ".webs" will be removed soon)

How much will shipping to Canada be? And also, are these they Edisons that are good or the ones where you can find them as a store bought in a korean store?

Straight out of the box Eastsheens look like **** compared to others.. nevermind how long you spend breaking it in and/or modding it. He said people usually use GH/LL, which is true. Not many people buy eastsheens anymore (therefore obsolete).

But breaking in Eastsheens are fun! I've thrown my ES 2x2 at the ground to loosen it up many times. Works like a charm. Some people prefer running it over with a car, but that's a bit too risky for me.

good site. I think you'll attract a lot of customers. but eastsheen 2x2's are obsolete. not a lot of people use them anymore. They usually use GH 2x2's, or LL 2x2's. :P just saying.

The best 2x2 I ever tried was an Eastsheen, and I've tried countless LL/GH/SS/DS whatever.

yeah, I'm just saying. most people prefer to use the new types now, just because eastsheen take months to make really good.

Concerning the Eastsheen 2x2's (which is not what this thread is about so let's get off that topic :P), the only reason their in my shop, is because I have some left in stock, and need to get rid of them. I will not be restocking them most likely, and Lan-Lan's, Maru's, etc. are on their way (one of them, or possibly all if I get sales). And I was asked if these are the good Edison's, or bad ones from the store (I didn't know there was a difference), and they are not bought from the store haha. Okay, well thanks for the feedback I hope you enjoy the store when it releases!

EDIT: For shipping to Canada- I don't know what the price will be because I don't have my scale here in Korea, and haven't worked out the price considering other variables yet. Sorry, I'll give an update ASAP.

EDIT: Sorry if I don't reply promptly, I'm really busy everyday here.

EDIT: I will also have access to other Edison brand products such as their pyraminx (very good in my opinion), and their other products

when do you think your store will open?

The store will open sometime in August, however, not all of the store's products will be released (as I am still ordering some, and waiting for some to come in).

Sky cube??

Yes, the Sky cube is inclusive to Edison brand products.

what's special about the Edison cube?

I've heard it cuts corners at a true 45 degrees. Reverse corner cutting? I also know it's very very heavy. Is it fast and smooth though?

Just as a quick reply (I'm sure somebody else could elaborate much more):

Like all cubes, it's personal opinion that defines how good it is. The reasons as to why I like Edison cubes is it's corner cutting (it doesn't really reverse corner cut as most cubes don't), extremely high resistance to lock-ups as well as pops (high stability), and it's feel is very fast and, crisp perhaps (which I like, though you may not). The heaviness does not affect my speedcubing, and I actually tend to like it (not for OH though lol).

Yeah, I live in korea and some of the ones that are bought in store
suck much more than a really tight Rubik's storebought cube.

Oh I didn't know that, regardless, these aren't bought from the store.
