Jai Gambhir 16.96 OH avg12

The video is of the entire session (26 solves), but I have some decent solves outside of the 16.96 avg12 (which starts at 2:40). This isn't a PB or even anywhere close; I just wanted to get a decent average on film. :)

okay, i notice you handle a lot of the U turns with a finger flick from UFL to UBL. i ALWAYS want to do this but it hurts my hand so much. weston, do you do this for a lot of your U turns? also, it looks like jai is doing this by curling his finger and flicking the cube, but it seems to be easier for me if i keep my finger straight and swipe backwards like i do for R' turns with my ring finger. any ideas?

WESTON YOU CAN PAY ME BACK FOR LENDING YOU A SCREWDRIVER DURING NATIONALS lol

lolol Oh that was you? Well, thanks for lending it to me. :)

But yeah I do that for pretty much all of my U turns. The only time I don't do that is when I'm locking up. Then I'll just do the Push from UBL to UBR. Since I think its a little easier, but slower.
I also keep my finger relatively straight. A big part of getting that fingertrick down is to try out different angles of holding the cube. And of course, it helps to have long fingers.
