15 seconds and Cross

So I recently learned monkeydude1313's intuitive f2l guide, and now i want to know what I am supposed to be looking for when I have inspetion time and how can I switch to doing the cross on the top, because I do it on the bottom and it is really difficult when i try to solve it on the top

Just learned something new ----> Don't use inspection until you're comfy.

its much better to solve the cross on bottom, since you get a good lookahead for f2l when you are doing it, so you should stick with that (and in inspection, i only check on how to do the cross as fast as possible, then when cross is done, i need to check some more

The only thing you can do is practice.

Lol I figured maybe that's what you meant, but you consistently mixed them up.

As Edward said, just practice. There's a few fingertrick friendly things you can do to place cross pieces on the bottom, such as:

R u R' u'

and

R' u R' u'

(do them backward to set them up)

Use the 15s inspection to find your cross pieces and figure out how you will bulid the cross so you can do it without looking.
