F2 vs Hayian Memory

Where should I buy them and which is better WITHOUT lube.

its alot cheaper to just buy an av then mod it yourself, and there is more places to buy avs over hiayan memories
I perfer the av (modded)

Both come pre-lubed and assembled. The FII is probably faster without any lube because it is lighter.

first of all thats irrelavant, secondly I just weighed both and my FII was 80g and modded AV was 81, not a noticible difference.

Haiyan Memory. I do enjoy my F-II a lot, though. They're both really good cubes.

Go for Hayian Memory, FII's suck in my opinion

The Hiyan Memory is near-identical to an Alpha V.
I would buy an F-II and an Alpha V. They both cost less than one Hiyan Memory.

I use the Haiyan Memory for two-handed cubing, and the FII for one-handed. My FII pops too much for two-handed, but is excellent for OH.

I've had both, and the F-II was much better straight out of the box, while the Memory was much better after about a week or two of being broken in.

Personally, I much prefer the AV/Memory, but it does take a bit of breaking in and it's not for everybody. It's really hard to describe the differences between the two, so all I can really say is you need to get both and decide for yourself. Considering you can get BOTH for under $20, you don't really have any excuses not to add them to your collection.

it depends are you a creamy cube person or a clicky cube person. If you like type c go for the FII, but if you like type A or the ghost hand go for the haiyan/ alpha V. Thats about the best i can do for you i personally love my haiyan cube but dont care for my FII because it got almost an uncleaned cube feeling after about a week of use(yes i cleaned it out). Ok maybe uncleaned is a bad word it was like someone put a bit of marshmallow fluff inside it it, like something was slowing it down some. The FII is also prone to wearing out faster and breaking down depending on the lube you use

as far as i know the f2 comes prelubed and the lube it comes with is very nice

as for quality wise i say both cubes are on par, it really depends on waht you like as inuyasha pointed out, however, i have tried both cubes after cleaning them out and comparing before a relube and id say the f2 was very slightly better only because it locked less, the a5 did however turn faster then the f2 unlubed.

As for the wearing out faster... i think your basing that information on the F1?
=\ or mayb i just dont have enough solves on my f2.. im at approx 700 solves? still good as new, tried jigaloo, silicon spray (grey bottle), dian sheng lube, maru lube.
