As the topic title implies, I have been reading threads on this forum for perhaps a year or more, but today, I have put aside my laziness to register.
My name is Anthony, and I'm from Texas. Big cubes are really not my thing. I focus on doing basic 3x3 solves of which I average inconsistently between 30 and 40 seconds. That's the problem when you're horrible at F2L recognition and still use 4-look OLL.
Outside of cubing, I enjoy learning other languages. I have yet to adequately master any other language besides English, but it's on my list of lifelong goals along with achieving sub-10 times on the 3x3.
Having already spent countless hours here, I hope I can give something back to you guys and keep being motivated to improve my times.

Err, Houston doesn't seem to experience tornadoes that much. I'm not sure what you mean by being able to communicate with people from Brooklyn, but I speak French at a level where it would be taught in secondary school.do you speak french? Also, is texas like Colorado where people go :O OMG when there's a ceiling fan i mean tornado?
[I speak Vietnamese fluently and barely some French. Bulgarian, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese are some languages I wish to learn.]
I can read.

I know what you mean. To be honest, I'm a bit lazy to look through all the in-depth posts about optimal algorithms for specific cases, but there has been some neat stuff I picked up from here. Hopefully, we both can improve even more.Im new here to. I've been reading stuff for a while, like you, and the information can help any cuber.

I'm from Houston. It's too bad that's a bit far from Brownsville. I don't know many, if any, cubers here at all.Hello Anthony from Texas!
I'm Anthony from Texas.
Where are you from, dude?
Eh, it doesn't seem that bad being in someone's shadow. It's kind of neat to know there's another Anthony from Texas, though.Another anthony from texas :fp that's gotta suck to live in someones shadow like that
I would be content with just having a sub-10 average, but we'll see. I've only been to one competition, and it's already ironic how I'm the lowest ranked cuber in Texas, according to CubingUSA.I have been reading threads on this forum for perhaps a year or more,![]()
I look forward to seeing you surpass Anthony.
