Short breaks tend to help cubers with their look ahead and fingertricks. If you practice too much, you will get into a rhythm of being that slow. I used to do 100+ solves a day,(Don't try this at home, kids) and I stayed at 26 seconds for about 2 months. I went down to myrtle beach, and I got more focused on wiffleball when I got back. Now that I practice a little less, my times are around 23 on average. I also got into color neutrality for a while. That kind of helped, too.
So, for anyone who does 80+ solve a day, you have to take a break. Trust me. It works.
