lubricating cube

hi..i am new to this forum....and i appreciate all d people out here who are helping beginners like me......i lubricated my cube with Vaseline:fp but now i want to use some silicone spray....i have heard that if u have Vaseline on ur cube...try not to use silicon spray....is that true???:confused::confused::confused:
i cleaned the cube with some soap water....will that be fine to sue some silicone spray now??

putting silicone in with Vaseline acts like an epoxy IIRC. As long as you cleaned it out very good, i'd say you're safe to go ahead and lube your cube with silicone

He can speak however he wishes. It's not seen anywhere in the rules or stated officially. Besides, it's not THAT hard to read.

@OP: You'd usually clean out the cube if it has Vaseline and replace it with silicone.
