Questions for anybody averaging about 20.

Actually mostly sub 20 (avg 18-20)

1)How fast is your F2L? (Cross included)
12 avg on a good day

2)Do you use intuitive or algorithmic F2L?
intuitive, learnt some algs though (~5)

3)Do you know full OLL?
yes, and for some I know multiple algs

4)Do you know full PLL?
yes, and for a lot of them multiple algs, and for e.g. 3-cycle I know left, right, front, back, so I don't need U moves

5) What is your main speedcube?
Type B, bought it in Holland. Never pops.

unfortunately I've been stuck at this 18' barrier for some years, I don't practice much.

When I averaged 20...

1. 12 seconds
2. Intuitive
3. Yes
4. Yes
5. Old type A

Now everything's pretty much the same expect F2L is down to 9 and I use AII.

I just started breaking 20s consistently, but here are my stats:

1) How fast is your F2L? (Cross included) : ~8-12 s
2)Do you use intuitive or algorithmic F2L?: Intuitive, though I know like, 2 of the annoying cases algorithmically
3)Do you know full OLL?: Nope, just 2-look, though I know maybe 5 others
4)Do you know full PLL?- All but the Ns (seriously :P )
5) What is your main speedcube?- F-II

>Implying anyone who averages about 20 uses CFOP.

I average about 21 now. Anywhar betwixt 18 and 24 is good. Now these times are going to go back to 30 because I'm learning CLL/ELL.

1.) 14-16 seconds on average. 10-12 on a good solve.
2.) I started out actually doing a weird edges first LBL which introduced 5 algs. I then started intuitiving, and found that algs and intuitive worked great. Intuitive for easy cases, algs for more difficult ones.
3.) I started learning. I got to 38 or so. I stopped. Started learning CLL/ELL.
4.) I learned 17 -- everything minus G. Didn't feel it was worth it. Started learning CLL/ELL.
5.) New Alpha-II.

so you got 38/57 oll and 17/21 pll and then decided to start CLL/ELL?

why? Recognition on oll/pll is far easier imo than cll/ell as recognizing permutation can be difficult before orientation.

1) How fast is your F2L? 12 secs~
2)Do you use intuitive or algorithmic F2L? i use alg's, that i understand the moves.
3)Do you know full OLL?yes
4)Do you know full PLL?yes
5) What is your main speedcube? FII

I am averaging around 25 seconds but I will respond anyway.

1.) ~20 seconds
2.) Intuitive F2L
3.) Full OLL, NO.
4.) Full PLL. YES.
5.) I can hit 25 second solve with any cube regardless. My favourite one being a YJ 3x3 cube though.
I would say that FUll PLL is a definite requirement to hit sub-20.

1) How fast is your F2L? About 13-15 sec :/
2)Do you use intuitive or algorithmic F2L? Algorithmic
3)Do you know full OLL? Yes
4)Do you know full PLL? Yes
5) What is your main speedcube? AV with memory mod. I used FII for a short while and then I realized that FII is not the cube for me.Although I made an awesome NL single with FII

ok i just have to post in here though i use ZZ and averaging 26. i just have to say that i changed my main speedcube method from CFOP to ZZ and i know about 40ish OLL and full PLL and some 18 average peoples dont even know 20 OLLs
i have to say thats weird
