Ok, got a new FII cube, love it. i normally have black cubes, and this ones white (quite colorful)

overall i love the cube. i am sticking with this new colorful cube/white cube..

anywho, i average nearly 27 seconds now, 28. i just did some averages, they are now around 37!

is this normal for a new color cube?? how long until i get used to it? im trying to practice it alot as i we speak

It's probably just the color adjustment. It takes a few solves to get used to white cubes. I got a white FII also, and now It's the cube I'm best with. got my pb avg with it. just keep using it. it's not a big deal

Don't stop using the FII, its the best cube in my opinion, it even beats the A5 and A6 . And yeah, its normal. My average went up when i started using a white FII, but after a little while, they rocketted back down, and then lower than my average that I had before my FII.

Hey man, relax...it's not the just the white; your fingers just need to find a new zone. F-II undershoots where other cubes overshoot. Just enjoy it, and shut the timer off for a few days.

And don't give up on CN...it may not be the most intuitive process, but it will actually HELP your fixed-color solves by reinforcing your existing neural connections with new variations. Even if you never intend to go full CN, do about 5% of solves that way and you won't be sorry.

Just got a 00:23.49 single ;)

fluke :fp:

Don't worry about it dude. You'll be fine and your times will get better.
Btw sorry about last week when I said you were annoying. I had a hell of a day and I got set off. It was nothing personal at all.
Anywho. Just keep practicing with the white cube. I think you'll find that you like it better than black. =)

Is it your first FII? I know it took me a bit of time to adjust to the smaller stickers and my recognition was off for a couple of days, but once I got used it the buttery smoothness made it all completely worth it.

<3 FII.

FII are the bomb..and yeah first FII.

1) when i ordered that (30+ days ago) i had just finished fridrich, was a complete newb at cubes, so I guessed (i thought black=black stickers instead of yellow..call me newb. go.

anyway, im used to white now. i have an avg of 12 ..28 something. had a few good solves, but mostly crap. if u guys wanna see lmk. not a great video

Seriously, just put the timer away. Use it, get used to it, learn how the cube works. Give it a few weeks without the timer. I go weeks or months between timed sessions, it doesn't bother me.

Really? I was originally using a ghost hand, and I bought an F-II in the middle of the 3x3 competition, lol. I decided to use it and I was overshooting with it like crazy xD
