Lubing and Cleaning a cube

Yesterday, i lubed my cube, but i was just aware that i should probably clean it first. Would it do any harm to clean it, and then re lube it again

If it is an old cube, then clean it. If it has vaseline in it, then clean it. If it is brand new, don't clean it.

well i have two old ones, then one fairly new one..but they dont have vaseline

When you pop out an edge (unless its a 2x2 ) And you see theres alot of dust, clean it out and then lube it.

But pretty much everything that Cubes of the world said...

ok, but even though i lubed it last night, if its cleaned, i can lube it up again?

Well the whole point of lube is to make it faster. Was it slow in any way? If its likewickedamazingfast then I would just wait for the lube to wear off. If not, then clean it and lube it again.
