I have a 3x3 Rubik's that I am going to resticker. I watched a video on how to apply stickers and how to clean and lubricate a 3x3 (take apart, clean in a sink with warm water and soap, lube, reassemble). The video for applying stickers said to take the old off, clean with rubbing alcohol or "Goo Gone" (something along those lines), and reapply the stickers.
What would be the best crossover step? What I mean is I want to do both together to try and save time. So if I remove the stickers first, then clean with soap and water, would I still have to go get rubbing alcohol to clean the old adhesive off?
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I am new here and thought this was the proper place.
