This may be the fastest on youtube, but idk. I couldn't find anything faster, but who knows. Leave comments on whatever, mainly the camera angle and stuff. Also, the color scheme on this puzzle flat out sucks. Lets hope cubesmith gets stickers. Other than the color scheme though, it's an amazing puzzle, and it turns very, very well.

Filmed on a phone, so I don't expect the vid quality to be great.

I agree with you about the color scheme. I don't know what they were thinking. anyway, it's one of my favorite puzzles so I'm glad there is finally a mass production version.

Same here, I just really hope cubesmith eventually stocks stickers for it.

I noticed there were no jumbling moves in that solve... Did you not do any jumbling in the scramble?

I did not scramble with jumbling moves. While yes, the heli cube obviously can do this, it simply isn't the same puzzle as the one we all know and love. I (Along with others) also think that giving it the jumbling is pretty stupid, as it adds almost no difficulty, just annoyance.

Tutorial please!

I have one uploading as we speak

Fair enough. I think the jumbling is pretty awesome, but then again, once mine gets here in the mail, I certainly won't be jumbling it until I'm sure I've figured out how to solve it otherwise. I would imagine that in actually solving it, ending up with jumbled centers would invoke more or less the same feeling that getting parity on odd cubes does... So yeah, I guess you're right that it would be annoying, but I'm still excited about owning a puzzle that can jumble.

I agree with this. Jumbling can move centers out of their orbits (and thus creates additional challenges) but then you run into the problem that it'd take forever to get a proper 'scramble'... basically the extra time it takes is proportional to the number of centers in the wrong orbit, and if you just handscrambled you would probably end up with at most 4 or so. But the real reason I don't like jumbling is that I see it as a side-effect of the mechanism used (like how twisting a corner on 3x3 is possible with some mechanisms, but an unintended move) - for me, the puzzle behind this is a cube that always returns to cube shape after each move, so I feel like it's more 'pure' when only 180-degree turns are allowed.

The color scheme on the one I got sucks too. I swapped orange and black (to get normal color scheme) by switching 6 stickers, and if you look carefully you could probably tell which those are. It's normal color scheme now though, worth it :D

So the video itself is perfectly fine audio wise, something got screwed up in the upload to youtube. I'll reupload later, because the video is on my brother's computer due to my lack of windows.
